Join us in the gym 7pm to watch SING! Kids can come in their pyjamas with a blanket. Popcorn and juice will be available for sale. Admission is $4 per person or $10 per family.

Click here from the minutes from the Q&A session held April 12th regarding the upcoming renovations at the school. 7 of the 9 classes will be moving to accommodate the construction. These moves will occur next week. Construction is to begin May 15th.
Join us Wednesday in the library 7-8:30 pm for a presentation by Vania and Winston Karam on tactics to prevent bullying.
Vania and Winston Karam are an Ottawa mother/son team that have been dedicated to fighting bullying together for over 5 years now. They have been featured in dozens of media stories across North America. The struggles they have both overcome are an inspiration to everyone.
The newly merged school councils of Leslie Park and Briargreen offer an evening presentation with the Karams. They will deliver a message of hope and empowerment to both students and parents! The presentation will be geared towards parents and students (grade 4 or older).

We will be having our next Council meeting Wednesday, April 12th from 6:30-7:30. The first part of the meeting, we will be discussing upcoming Council events; the second part we will be discussing the upcoming renovations at Briargreen, other schools’ experiences with construction and the discussions taking place at the OCASC and Parent Involvement committee meetings.
